Min. Griselda Baker was raised up in Monroe and Lithonia, Ga. She is the daughter of the late Dea. Willie Cooper Jr. and  the late Min. Carrie Cooper. She graduated from Lithonia High School, Lithonia Ga. At the age of 11 she accepted the Lord Jesus Christ and was baptized at  Austin Chapel Baptist Church, Winder Ga. She later joined Antioch Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Robert E. Glass and eventually went back to her family's home church Mt. Enon Baptist Church, Monroe, Ga. She is currently under the leadership of her husband Pastor J. Phillip Baker, Pastor of Shady Grove Baptist Church located in Conyers, Ga. She is also the proud mother of 6 beautiful children, Briana, Gabriel, Jahmai, Deshaun, Nickalus and Kennedy.


After being in the banking industry for over 20 years, the Lord saw fit for Min. Baker to leave the workforce to help take care of her mother who later passed away of breast cancer.

Min. Baker officially accepted her call to preach the gospel in March of 2014 and was licensed on May 25, 2014. She is currently attending Andersonville Theological Seminary in hopes of obtaining her Bachelor of Theology degree. She is the youth minister of Shady Grove Baptist Church but she also serves on several other ministries within the church . She is a woman of God who truly loves the Lord.


In her private time, Min. Baker enjoys baking, reading and spending time with her family. Her favorite scripture is Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
